Sikkim- Ladakh Entrepreneurship Conclave

The Sikkim–Ladakh Entrepreneurship Conclave was designed as a cross-regional learning and exchange initiative to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystems across India’s Himalayan belt. Hosted by Alsisar Impact in collaboration with Ahaana Ventures, the conclave was organised as an extension of the Alsisar Impact Himalayan Summit, with a focus on early-stage, impact-driven enterprises.

Held across multiple locations in Sikkim from 12–22 December 2024, the program brought together entrepreneurs from Ladakh working across sectors such as indigenous foods, sustainable consumer products, and craft-based livelihoods. The initiative followed an immersive, place-based format that combined field visits, peer learning, and engagement with local ecosystem stakeholders.

Nexus Global Summit 2024

Alsisar Impact enabled the participation of a startup from our portfolio, LOCAL All Natural Soda, founded by Zomawii Khiangte, at the Nexus Global Summit in New York City—amplifying an impact-led enterprise from India’s Northeast on a global platform of next-generation philanthropists, investors, and social entrepreneurs. The engagement showcased the venture’s journey from early conceptual roots in New York to its community-driven implementation across Mizoram, highlighting farmer-first sourcing and local value chains as scalable, globally relevant impact models, while reinforcing Alsisar Impact’s role in enabling portfolio founders from underserved regions to access international platforms and partnerships.

Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit 2024

Alsisar Impact was represented by Anuj Sharma and Anvitaa Rastogi at the Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit in Singapore, a global forum convening business leaders, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to advance sustainable and responsible business practices. The engagement enabled Alsisar Impact to share perspectives from its work supporting impact-first, investable enterprises rooted in indigenous and frontier ecosystems across India, while strengthening global visibility and expanding international networks. As part of the participation, Alsisar Impact highlighted portfolio venture agapi as an example of sustainability-led, indigenous entrepreneurship, demonstrating how traditional knowledge, ethical sourcing, and modern brand-building can create scalable enterprises with strong environmental and social outcomes.
